In this episode we covered the various aspects of exercise. First we discussed and defined the range of illnesses and diseases, which are associated with obesity, such as Type 2 Diabetes, atherosclerosis and other cardiovascular diseases. We then talked more in depth of what Type 2 Diabetes is and how it can be managed. So keeping an active lifestyle is important in controlling weight which in turn helps us prevent many different and related diseases.
Next we talked about how weight can be maintained and how we can utilize certain information such as the BMR and caloric intake. Monitoring these along with exercise will facilitate our understanding of our body’s status. After discussing these points we went ahead and conversed on how much one should exercise, followed by some tips on how to perform these exercises. Following a balanced diet plan and exercising properly can help us live a healthy life.
